• The 2025 GMC Terrain was seen out in the open, with nothing hiding it. It looks a lot like the 2025 Chevy Equinox.
  • The big bonnet and headlights on the Terrain make the front and back of the car stand out.
  • It was also found that the 2025 GMC Yukon had new hoods and better C-shaped headlights.

GMC is making big plans for 2025. The carmaker will completely redesign the Terrain, its smallest SUV, in 2025. This will come after the new generation of the Acadia comes out in 2024. GMC, on the other hand, is planning to redesign its largest car, the full-size Yukon. Even though their unique headlight designs gave them away earlier this year, the two new SUVs can now be seen clearly in spy pictures.

2025 Yukon and GMC Terrain Spotted Without Any Masks

An Equinox that is even more manly

The 2025 GMC Terrain spy pictures show that the crossover will have a body shape like the 2025 Chevy Equinox, which is also getting a new look. The most obvious difference between the two cars is the C-pillar, which is shaped like a “shark fin” and is a bit higher on the Terrain than the Equinox. There is a black border between it and the roof. The wheel arch trim and side windows look like the same person who made them.

Most of the changes have been made to the front of the Terrain. The AT4 standard, which is meant to be used off-road, has a big, muscular grille with gold trim pieces that run horizontally on a black background. The small fog lights and the headlights, which have an LED design in the shape of a C, are both in the grille. On the bumper, there are red tow hooks and a silver skid plate. You can also get General Grabber A/T Sport tires on six-spoke AT4 wheels for the Chevy Equinox Activ. On the back, the headlights are shaped more like an L.

In earlier spy photos, a digital collection of gauges and a large, vertically mounted infotainment screen were seen. Both the Terrain and the Equinox will most likely have the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 175 horsepower and can drive either the front wheels or all four wheels. Terrain should be fully shown off in the next few months.

Yukon gets a new look

Plenty of changes have been made to the full-size SUV Yukon, but fewer to the smaller SUV Terrain. The headlights have been totally redesigned. The main lights are now in a large section at the bottom, and an LED “eyebrow” is hooked up above it. A rectangular trim piece joins together the headlights. They have a new look, but they still have the same shape.

The Yukon pictures also show the AT4 version, which can be told apart from the others by its darker triangular grille on the front. There are two red tow hooks and a skid plate under the metal bottom trim. It looks like the Yukon AT4 has 275/60R-20 Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires on it.

The 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V-8 engines will probably stay the same, so we don’t think there will be any big changes under the hood. The 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged diesel engine should have the same amount of power as the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban. It will have an extra 28 horsepower and 35 pound-feet of torque, for a total of 495 pound-feet of torque. Like with the Terrain, a full statement should come soon.
