The black body treatments and Rays Wheels RW-LMH MF21, which have four LED fog lights, explicitly reference the Toyota Hypercar. Along with bigger wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport S tires, the suspension has been strengthened to improve the car’s handle. Gazoo Racing did not change or improve the 2023 Toyota Prius, which is a shame because the 2.0-liter XLE AWD’s 196 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque still make it take 7.2 seconds to hit 60 mph. TGR says that the 1.6-liter turbocharged I-3 engine with 300 horsepower, or a slightly changed form, might be snuck into the hybrid system if it comes to be. The 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans would be a great time to do that. This Prius GR is just an idea, and you can only buy it at this event. But given how well customers received the Corolla GR and the new 2023 Prius, TGR would be crazy not to make at least this model since it shows off how sporty Toyota’s new hybrid is.
