The new 2024 Land Rover Defender 130 Outbound starts at $85,975 and is part of the range. Even though the Outbound is long, it only has five seats and no side window in the back. The Defender 130 now has a supercharged V-8 engine with 493 hp. This engine was first used in the Defender 110 P500. Land Rover, or JLR, which just changed its name, is pushing the Defender SUV hard. The stylish off-roader has two or four doors, a long (110) or extended (130) wheelbase, and four, six, or eight-cylinder engines. With the new 130 Outboard trim level and more V-8 engine choices, the Land Rover Defender family has grown significantly for 2024. Now you can get the Defender 130 Outbound Overall, the Defender 130 is about 16.5 feet long, which gives it a unique look and lets it fit a third row of seats and a similar amount of cargo. The regular Outbound version has three rows of seats for eight people, but the new Outbound variant only has two seats for five. Now that the third row is gone, about 50 inches of empty floor rooms are under the second row. The open space grows to 47 cubic feet when the back seats are pulled down. The Outbound experience also has (wait for it) a new cargo net, more hooks and cubbies, and a rubber floor mat that can be folded over the back bumper to protect it from scratches. From these pictures, the Defender 130 Outbound looks like something a Bond lousy guy would take off-road. But under the side items on the back of the car is a sheet that matches the car’s color and takes the place of the windows. The Outbound stands out from the other 130 variants because it has a trait that none have. Carpathian Grey, Fuji White, Eiger Gray, and Santorini Black are the only types of paint you can get. For the princely sum of $5500, Land Rover also adds a satin cover to the last two to protect them. The Defender 130 Outbound has a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac All-Terrain tires on black 20-inch wheels. Larger 22-inch rollers are a possibility, and they come with all-season rubber for free, even though they cost $2400 and only come with all seasons. Every Outbound has a 3.0-liter straight-six engine that makes 395 horsepower and is driven by a 48-volt hybrid system and an electric supercharger. The starting MSRP for the new Outbound trim is $85,975. More V-8s and graphics from the 1980s and 1990s Beginning in 2024, more Land Rover Defenders will have V-8 engines. This is because there are currently 130 cars on the market with a supercharged 5.0-liter engine that can make 493 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Customers can choose between gray and black paint for the upgraded engine, which has four exhaust tips that make it stand out. So, the V-8 version of the 130 now starts at $118,075, a significant price increase. Fans of the Defender 110 model can now choose between a 493-hp V-8 and the 518-hp V-8 offered before. But the new County pack for the 2024 Defender 110 has gotten our attention. For $600, customers can add historical pictures and contrasting colors to the top and tailgate based on the first Defender County models. The County pack and the gloss-white steel wheels appeal to us.
