Even though the boom in camper vans that started with the COVID-19 epidemic has slowed down, new rivals are always coming in. War Horse All Terrain is a brand-new, very high-end camper van company based in Florida.

An All-Terrain Luxury Camper Van from War Horse Costs $250,000

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van is where War Horse and many other outfits start when they build something. War Horse says that the vans come with a standard nine-speed automatic gearbox and a turbo-diesel inline four-cylinder engine with 170 horsepower. You can get the vans with either the normal 144-inch wheelbase or the bigger 170-inch wheelbase Sprinter. They also come with the extra all-wheel-drive system 4Matic. The van has 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler all-terrain tires, and an upgraded suspension setup and a two-inch raise from Agile Offroad make it more stable.

Newer types have a water heater, a more powerful air conditioner, a clothes dryer, a heated floor, and storage for both fresh and gray/black water. There is also a fridge and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower.

At War Horse, we understand that personalization is key to a satisfying travel experience. That’s why our website’s ‘build’ area allows buyers to choose their wheelbase and customize the interior to their liking, from the stone for the kitchen and bathroom to the wood for the cabinets and floors.

The website says that each van has room for four people, but each van can only hold two. One queen-size bed is tucked into the ceiling, and there is also space below for a small mattress that can fit two kids or one adult. The use of high-end materials like mahogany and stone is definitely a nice touch, but the bench seats in the van look very mechanical, giving off a much less high-end vibe.

As War Horse says, unique builds take 90 days from start to finish. However, the process requires a lot of resources. War Horse says that specially-made cars cost between $250,000 and $300,000.
