• The 2025 Audi A6 e-tron is the brand’s newest electric car. It has an EPA range of up to 392 miles and starts at $67,195.
  • In addition to the 375-horsepower rear-wheel-drive base model, the A6 e-tron also comes in a 456-horsepower all-wheel-drive variant, which starts at $69,195 and boasts a range of 377 miles.
  • With a starting price of $79,995, the Audi S6 e-tron stands out as the sportiest model, boasting a 543-horsepower all-wheel-drive powertrain and offering a range of up to 324 miles.

Even though they both have the “A6” brand, Audi’s new electric sedan and its gas-powered sedan are not connected at all, except for the four rings on their noses and tails. The 2025 Audi A6 e-tron starts at $67,195, which is over $8,000 more than the regular A6.

An Electric Car Called The 2025 Audi A6 e-Tron Starts At $67,195

Usually, the A6 e-tron has one electric motor with 375 horsepower that drives the back wheels. A 94.4-kWh battery pack powers all A6 EVs and the sporty S6 e-tron (more on that below). It’s also possible to get the A6 e-tron with two electric motors that give it all-wheel drive and 456 horsepower. It starts at $69,195, and adding all-wheel drive (AWD) costs an extra $2,000.

The A6 e-tron comes in three different trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. These are available for both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive cars. The last two come with better basic features, such as better headlights and 84-color ambient lighting inside. The Prestige adds $2400 to the price of the Premium Plus, and the Premium Plus adds $3900 to the price of the Premium, no matter what engine it has.

With the 2025 Audi S6 e-tron, the electric sedan gets even better speed. It has a dual-motor system with 543 horsepower, which is even more powerful. It also has unique style cues and a tuned air suspension. Audi says it will make the AWD EV go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. Audi customers must first buy the S6 e-tron Premium for at least $79,995 in order to get that better performance. The more expensive Prestige starts at $85,895, and the Premium Plus at $83,495.

How far these EVs can go on a single charge will depend on the type and amount of equipment they have. The A6 e-tron with rear-wheel drive needs the extra Ultra package, but the EPA says it can go 392 miles without stopping. For comparison, an AWD Audi A6 e-tron has a range of up to 342 miles. The EPA says the S6 e-tron can only go 324 miles on its 20-inch wheels, which is the smallest range. That number will go down even more if you choose bigger wheels.

Audi says that the S6 e-tron and A6 e-tron will be on sale at US stores this summer.
