In April of last year, Toyota released the first new 4Runner in about 15 years. This showed that waiting pays off. So far, the only way we’ve seen the new SUV is in news photos. But soon, we won’t have to wait any longer. The first prototypes of the 2025 4Runner have started to get off the ships in several places. Many people on the 4Runner6G site posted pictures of brand-new 4Runners on their way. One is a Heritage Blue TRD Off-Road Premium model parked at a Portland, OR port. At Port Oahu, Hawaii, three cars were seen on a car carrier. They were an SR5 Ice Cap, an SR5 Underground, and a TRD Off-Road Everest. The users did a great job of correctly naming the colors and trims. All of the 4Runners we’ve seen so far still have the safety features that were put in at the plant to get them ready for the long trip to the dealer lot closest to you. Film to protect the paint can be seen on the hood, behind the driver’s door handle, and on the door sill for the driver. On top of that, the center caps have not been put on yet. Picture of the new SUV is the only way to smell it. If they just got to port, it might be one or two months before you see them in a store. These pictures show how the off-road car really looks, with a big front splitter that looks a lot like the one on the Tacoma. They also track some of the first 4Runner sightings in the wild. Don’t worry; it should be simple to take off. The fifth-generation 4Runner went on sale in 2010 and wasn’t taken off the market until 2024, so almost every part of the sixth-generation 4Runner is brand new. It has a new look that keeps some of the original 4Runner’s styling cues. It comes in a number of trim levels, many of which are designed for off-road use, and it has a number of drivetrain choices, including a hybrid. We are also aware of the costs. The 2025 4Runner starts at $42,220, which is about $15,000 less than the 2025 Land Cruiser. The only thing left to do now is drive it. Keep an eye out.
