• Hyundai is changing the way the Sonata looks for 2024.
  • The inside has been redone from top to bottom, with new display screens.
  • By the end of the year, the Sonata should be on sale in the United States.

Because of changes to its design, the Sonata will soon look like the Grandeur, the Kona SUV, and the Staria van. The old Sonata, which came out for the 2020 model year and is now being replaced, must catch up with the new, futuristic design.

Now that the grille and headlights have been changed, you can see the LED light strip running across the car’s front. The light strip on the back tail lights matches the one on the front, and the bottom part of the car has become more pointed. Hyundai showed its basic and sportier N Line cars with new wheel designs.

The most significant change on the inside is that two big 12.3-inch screens have been assembled into a single, curved display binnacle. The materials are excellent, and some parts of the dashboard, like the climate controls, have been moved around. The shifter has been moved to the steering column, and the steering wheel has been changed to make more room in the center console.

The engine lineup for the Sonata will stay the same, with a 2.5-liter inline-four, a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four, a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four for the N Line, and a 2.5-liter inline-four. After that, Hyundai will give more information about the car, and American standards must catch up.
