• Jeep will no longer make any Renegade models in the United States after nine model years.
  • Along with the Giulia, the Fiat 500X will also be taken off the market after the 2023 model year.
  • Types of the 2023 Renegade and 500X are likely to stay in stock for now.

The Renegade will no longer be sold in the United States after the 2023 model year. This means that the smallest Jeep will no longer be made. Fiat also said that the 500X will no longer be made after 2024. The Compass has taken the place of the 500X as the base model Jeep. This leaves Fiat with just one model, the 2024 500e electric car, which will go on sale in early 2024. In the United States, these two tiny SUVs are some of Stellantis’ smallest and least expensive cars.

Chrysler 500X and Jeep Renegade are dead; they won't come back to life until 2024

The Renegade has been made for nine years, starting with the 2015 model year. At that point in time, it has undergone a few transformations. Recently, sales have gone down. In the US, only 15,561 units were sold until the third quarter of 2023, which is a 35% drop. The start price for the 2024 Compass is $29,995, which is a little more than the $29,445 start price for the last model. Yes, Jeep has stated that the Renegade will still be made for markets in South America, Europe, and Mexico.

The 500X, which came out in the 2016 model year, has been a key part of Fiat’s ability to stay in business in the US market. There were thousands of sales in the past, but now there are only hundreds. In the first three quarters of 2023, only 757 units were sold. The only real party piece was an extra canvas top that came with the Yacht Club Capri special version and cost $31,840.

Stellantis thinks that dealerships will have enough 2023 Renegades and 500X types for a while. That being said, now is the time to get one of these for your shed, preferably at a big discount.
