• Ferrari announced today that it plans to unveil six new vehicles in 2025 and has confirmed that its first electric vehicle will be revealed on October 9.
  • A successor to the SF90 Stradale is expected to debut this year, and it will likely give rise to a convertible version as well.
  • The 296 lineup is anticipated to expand with a more track-oriented variant, which may carry the VS designation, signifying Versione Speciale.

This year will be busy for Ferrari. The 296 GTS, the Roma Spider, and the Purosangue, Ferrari’s first SUV, all helped the high-performance Italian car company set sales records in 2024, sending 13,752 cars around the world. At the current exchange rate, the sales success led to a rise in revenue of 11.8%, which is close to $7 billion.

Ferrari Will Release Six New Cars In 2025, Including Its First Electric Car

Ferrari said today that it will keep up its pace by releasing six new models between now and 2025.

Ferrari said that one of these new cars will be its first electric car, but it didn’t say much else about its plans for 2025. We now know how long we’ll have to wait: Ferrari has scheduled a reveal for October 9 as part of its Capital Markets Day in Maranello, Italy. This is despite the fact that the company said last year that its first electric car would come out in 2025. Not much is known about Ferrari’s first attempt at making an electric car, but spy shots from Maranello show a prototype with what looks like a Maserati Levante body that has been changed and Ferrari Roma headlights.

We can guess what the other five new Ferraris are called, but we don’t know for sure. The 2019-coming SF90 Stradale stopped being made last year, but Ferrari is already working on the track-focused SF90 XX. Our guess is that Ferrari has already made a new plug-in hybrid racecar that will be a huge step up from the current model.

The 296 is another possible choice. The junior plug-in hybrid, which came out in 2021 and has a V-6 engine instead of a V-8 like the SF90, will also get a makeover. It will look like a harder-core, track-focused car. There is a rumor that the 296 will be renamed the 296 VS, which stands for “Versione Speciale,” because mules of that type were found in Italy. The upgrade to the 296 and replacement of the SF90 will probably lead to convertible models, making a total of five new models.

The last piece of the puzzle makes me think of a few more questions. A brand-new Purosangue model with a plug-in hybrid V-8 choice could be the sixth model. Also, Italian spy pictures show that Ferrari is working on a replacement for the Roma coupe. It could come out this year and work with the current Roma Spider. Instead, there is a different Icona limited-edition car, which comes after the Daytona SP3 and the Monza SP1/SP2. Within the next few months, more details about Ferrari’s future cars should become public.
