• More choices are one of the few small changes to the 2025 Ford Super Duty lineup.
  • The Platinum Plus package is added to the next-to-last Platinum level. It has a fancier appearance and a cozier interior.
  • Additional trailer assist technology and extras can now be added to the F-250 and F-350.

Heavy-duty pickup trucks are usually used to move a lot of stuff. The Ford Super Duty lineup fits that description, but the higher-end trim levels are truly luxurious, and they will get even better for the 2025 model year.

Ford's Super Duty Platinum Gets Even More Luxurious For 2025

Within the Super Duty lineup, the Platinum is just below the top-level Limited and closer to the top. This last level already had nice features like 20-inch wheels, leather seats, heated and cooled front seats, power-adjustable running boards, and a B&O sound system. Nevertheless, the Platinum Plus package makes its already luxurious situation even better.

Using the Platinum Plus kit, the grille has a perfect finish with silver parts that shine. It has French-style stitching and holes on the Venetian leather seats inside. Furthermore, Ford’s Max Recline seats are part of the deal. The front bucket seats can fully recline, making them perfect for sleeping on the job or while hauling horse trailers to and from the ranch. Among other benefits, the Platinum Plus Ownership Experience gives you a 20% discount on all Ford items for the first 90 days of ownership.

Outside of body-color door handles, a new black-painted grille and tailgate appliqué, and Platinum Blue accents, the basic Platinum’s interior will have a new Black Onyx color scheme for 2025. Aspen and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat are the new colors on the outside. The Lariat base model comes with a fixed rear window with privacy glass, a wrapped steering wheel, and “ActiveX” synthetic leather as standard equipment. It looks good.

A new feature for the ’25 Super Duty line is the Ford Pro Vehicle Integration System 2.0. Upfit accessories can be linked to the trucks’ digital systems with this option, which makes it easier to use both the touchscreen in the middle and the toggle switches above the dashboard. It also comes with a new Trailer Technology option that includes blind spot sensors and tire pressure sensors. It’s a choice that the dealer installs, like the keyless keypad option. There are now only the XL and XLT trim levels of the SuperCab with the single rear axle and the longer eight-foot luggage bed for people who want the more extended version.

The heavy-duty truck powertrains currently offered have not changed. The XL, XLT, and Lariat come with an optional 6.8-liter V-8 engine with 400 horsepower. The King Ranch and Platinum come with a 7.3-liter V-8 engine with 430 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic transmission comes standard on all models, and the powerful Power Stroke diesel 6.7-liter V-8 engine, which can make up to 500 horsepower and 1200 pound-feet of torque, is offered on all models.

Ford has yet to announce the price of the 2025 Super Duty range, but people can start placing their orders right now.
