• A new line of Honda electric vehicles will be shown at CES 2024.
  • Honda says that in addition to the new electric cars, it will also show off important technologies that show how the company is always changing.
  • The car company also posted a teaser picture that supposedly showed an electric vehicle concept car that will be shown for the first time at CES in January.

Honda plans to introduce a new global EV series at CES 2024. This is part of the company’s plan to sell 2 million cars and release 30 new EVs around the world by 2030. The company that makes the cars says that by 2040, all cars in North America will have zero emissions. This includes both battery-electric and fuel-cell electric cars.

Also, Honda says that the series will be shown on a special website in addition to being at CES. Honda has stated that the display would showcase “several key technologies that illustrate the significant transformation Honda is currently undergoing.” This will be in addition to the worldwide electric vehicle series automobiles.

A Smart Idea for an EV?

Honda also shared a teaser image that shows an electric concept car that will be shown for the first time at the event. The front end is squared off and goes up very steeply. It looks pretty low to the ground. A pixelated wheel design can be seen through the shadows, but most of the car is hidden.

The beginning of 2024 is almost here. Honda’s first effort at an EV for the North American market was the Clarity, which got a lot of bad press. Compared to the concept car Honda is showing off right now, the Prologue has a more understated look that says it’s eco-friendly without shouting it.

The company also said it would change how it does business to fit better its new global brand motto, “The Power of Dreams—How We Move You.” Honda says that the slogan shows how its goods and services “increase their abilities and opportunities” and “go beyond different limits like time and place.” You and I are the ones who need to figure out what that code means.
