• With the ZP Edition, a limited-edition car, Jaguar is still saying goodbye to the F-type.
  • Before the F-type stops are made in 2024, 150 of these unique models will be made.
  • The British car company will switch from making gas-powered sports cars to electric ones, starting with the F-type.

You were wrong to think that the 75th Anniversary Jaguar F-type was the last British sports car. The ZP Edition is the previous special edition of the F-type before it was wholly taken out of service. Its color schemes are based on old E-type racing cars.

Before production stops for good the following year, only 150 ZP Editions will be made. There will be both car and convertible body styles. In the first color scheme, the inside is red and black leather, and the outside is bright blue. The interior of the other one is navy blue and black, and the exterior is Crystal Gray. The ZP cars have white roundals on their doors, which makes them look like old race cars. In honor of the sports car’s debut and early race wins in 1961, Jaguar Classic put these same paint jobs on several restored E-types that came out earlier this year.

On top of that, the F-type ZP cars have a white frame around the grille, unique leather seat trim, logos on the dashboard, wheels, skirts, and side sill plates. The vehicles will also have a sign that says they are one of 150. The top engine for the F-type is a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 with 575 horsepower. All ZP models will have this engine, all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
