Acura has said that the brand-new small SUV ADX will go on sale in early year. While only a little is known about the ADX, we think it will have a lot in common with the Civic it is built on and the Honda HRV. The ADX will cost between the $32,995 Integra sedan and the $45,700 RDX SUV, but the price and power figures have not been set in stone yet. Acura said earlier this year that they would be making a new small SUV to go under the RDX. Right now, we know for sure that the new car is the ADX, a subcompact luxury SUV. We still don’t know everything about the Acura ADX, which they call a “gateway” car to go with the Integra. This means the ADX will have the same entry-level feel as the car and not be based on the Integra. Not at all. The ADX should be a lot like the Civic car and the HR-V small crossover. We thought before that the ADX might be called the CDX, after an Acura version of the Honda HR-V that was first sold in China. We know that the ADX will have a compressor of some kind. The turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 200 horsepower is likely to be used, just like in the Honda Civic Si and Integra. It will also have a continuously variable automatic gearbox (CVT). With the new ADX and ZDX electric cars, Acura will have three times as many SUVs as it did before. After the ADX comes out, Acura will finally be able to fight with its high-end rivals. The new car will go up against the Lexus UX, the Audi Q3, and the BMW X1. Acura said that the new car will go on sale early in 2019 as a model for 2025. The ADX will cost between the $32,995 Integra car and the $45,700 RDX SUV, but we don’t know for sure yet.
