• Maserati displayed two Fuoriserie-customized cars with distinctive characteristics.
  • Maserati’s last car with a V8 engine is the Quattroporte Grand Finale.
  • The Maserati MC20 Iris has white lines and a color called AI Aqua Rainbow that shimmers.

Maserati showed off two unique cars in Stresa, Italy, a vacation town near Lake Maggiore: the Quattroporte Grand Finale and the MC20Iris. Both were made for the same passionate Maserati fan, who is described as an American biotech business owner. The brand’s 621-hp supercar comes in a colored form in the MC20. The Quattroporte, on the other hand, is the last Maserati to have a V-8 engine. Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization department made the two one-of-a-kind cars.

Maserati unveiled the last Aqua MC20 one-offs and the V-8 Quattroporte

As of later this decade, an electric replacement is planned for the Quattroporte Grand Finale. It is the last Maserati with a V-8 engine and the last new car to carry the Quattroporte name. The deep blue paint job on the Grand Finale is called Blu Nobile, and the carbon fiber trim matches. There is a 3.8-liter V-8 engine with 572 horsepower in the Trofeo type, but it was taken off the market in 2023. There are autographs from the Fuoriserie team and the powertrain engineers on the unique engine cover that holds the eight-cylinder motor. The brake pistons on the Grand Finale look like they are made of brushed metal.

The unique Quattroporte has black leather on the A-pillar and trunk and tan leather on the seats and door panels. The cabin also uses a lot of deep-brown wood, like the inner door handles, the center panel, and the steering wheel’s rim. The center panel and door sills have the words “Grand Finale” written in them, and the brand’s black Trident logo is sewn into the headrests of the seats.

Proof of Maserati’s unrivaled craftsmanship is the MC20 Iris. Its name, derived from the Latin word for rainbow, perfectly captures the essence of the car. The AI Aqua Rainbow paint, a light blue with shimmering hints of red, yellow, and green, is a true work of art. The white stickers running along the sides and across the back haunches, along with the white stripe on the hood, add a touch of elegance to the car.

The armrest, center panel, steering wheel, seat sides, and stitching are all the same shade of turquoise inside. A cross mark with a light blue edge is on the steering wheel at 12 o’clock. It looks like a white stripe. Each “+” and “-” on the paddle switches are the same color. The back trunk is lined with leather, and the “MC20 Iris” logo is stamped on the door sill.
