In 2022, Mercedes-AMG discontinued the GT, its symbol. The capable grand tourer will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this month. The company’s sixth new car is the AMG GT. It maintains the gull-winged SLS’s reputation. Since then, the business has developed the SL, GT, and four-door GT. The German automaker is considering all options for the new vehicle. The new AMG GT may have a “modified dimensional concept compared to its predecessor.” We can only surmise that it will be substantially larger and shaped differently. Reports indicate the new model “remains true to its sporty, dynamic character.” Everything should be good if it becomes a manageable SUV. The next AMG GT may be a hybrid all-wheel-drive monster. At Pebble Beach, we’ll hope. Mercedes, like other luxury carmakers, will add extras to Pebble Beach. Mercedes-Maybach will display a limited-edition Mercedes-AMG SL and new and historic automobiles. Project Mondo G’s art will be fluffy. Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven will also stand out. The blazing orange design modernises the Mercedes-Benz C111. It helps sell the new “Limited Edition 1 of 111” collection. The press says the collection’s apparel and accessories “bring the spirit of the 1970s into the here and now.” Mercedes’s situation is intriguing. V8 engine production is under consideration as electric cars become more widespread. Seeing how Mercedes-AMG updates the AMG GT for the 21st century will be fascinating.
