Mercedes-Maybach makes unique versions of the EQS SUV, the GLS, and the S-class called the Night Series. The package has unique color treatments, rose gold highlights, and dark chrome trim outside. Starting with the 2024 model year, they will be offered. One thing they have in common is that, like most people, they like their cars to be dark. As a direct consequence of this, all three Mercedes-Maybach models are now available with brand-new Night Series trim sets, just like the Ram 1500, Hyundai Santa Cruz, Kia Telluride, and a great deal of other automobiles. Of course, there are some differences. The trim outside the Maybach Night Series cars is dark chrome instead of all black. The Maybach logo is made of dark chrome on the black Mercedes-Maybach EQS680 SUV’s running boards, lower air intakes, headlights, and other parts. Also, the window trim on the side is black. The Mercedes-Maybach S580 and S680 cars have dark chrome accents outside that go to the tailpipe finishers. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS also has a stand-up hood ornament. The GLS sports dark-anodized power running boards in addition to the dark-finished wheels and the Maybach logo that are seen on the other two models. Also, the Night Series cars are the first to come in rose gold, the popular iPhone case color. It is also readable on the key fob and may be found in the headlights of all three variants. All three are also offered in single-tone black, white, and gray, and the S-class sedans have an exceptional two-tone black-and-silver paint job. Exclusive Nappa leather is used for the upholstery inside the Night Series cars. For the S-class, the hides come in black pearls, deep white, or black pearl with golden-gray stripes. SUVs come in either black pearl or black pearl with crystal white. The SUVs also have wood trim with an aluminum accent and a herringbone design made from the wood’s natural grain. The Night Series cars have unique lights and an animation that plays over the dashboard screen when the vehicle starts. Later this year, Night Series versions of the Mercedes-Maybach S-class and EQS SUV will start to drive around the symbolic West Egg. The GLS SUV will follow in early 2024.
