Beginning with the 2024 Mercedes-AMG CLA45 S Edition 1, the 416-hp form of Mercedes’ compact sedan will be sold in the US. The AMG Aerodynamics package comes standard with the Edition 1. This package includes orange highlights both inside and out, as well as a matte gray paint finish. Of course, all of that extra stuff costs money. The Edition 1 costs $82,345, which is over $16,000 more than a regular 2024 CLA45 S. Mercedes updated its beautiful CLA-class small luxury car for 2024, adding a new top-of-the-line CLA45 S model tuned by AMG. The old CLA45 has been replaced by the new S model, which has 34 more horsepower than the old one. Because of these improvements, the German automaker is releasing the CLA45 S “Edition 1,” which costs more and has a lot of cool design features. AMG styled the CLA There is something special about the 2024 Mercedes-AMG CLA45 S Edition 1. It has a matte Mountain Grey Magno color and a red AMG sign on top of a checkered flag pattern along the sedan’s sills. The tailpipes, sideview mirrors, front splitter, dive planes, and back diffuser are all the same color. The AMG Aerodynamics package is already part of Edition 1. It also has red brake calipers and 19-inch metal wheels that are matte black. The AMG Performance seats, which have orange stitching and “CLA 45 S” writing that matches the outside, also make the inside better. The door sill panels with the AMG logo are lit up in red, and the dashboard and door panels are still orange. Inside the Edition 1, there is metal trim and an AMG Performance steering wheel. As we already said, the base AMG CLA45 S’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine makes 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque for all four wheels. The company that makes the CLA45 S says that its eight-speed automatic gearbox lets it reach 60 mph in 4.0 seconds. Mercedes’ claim is a little small. The 382-hp CLA45 took 3.7 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph, and we expect the S version to go much faster. Mercedes says only 25 of these will be brought into the US, and sellers will soon get them. The starting price for the 2024 CLA45 S Premium is $82,345, a big jump from $66,550.
