When it debuts in the near future, the Acura ADX will be a sportier version of the Honda HR-V. Acura’s new subcompact SUV, which will sit below the small RDX, will have some high-end features, as shown in some new sneak photos. The ADX will be powered by the Integra hatchback’s 200-horsepower 1.5-liter four-pot turbocharged engine paired to a CVT transmission. For just $34,000, the Acura Integra is the quickest and most fun way to get into Honda’s high-end brand. People, on the other hand, definitely want SUVs. The new Acura ADX, which will come out in 2025, will try to quench that thirst by having a higher ride height and more space inside than the Integra. Audi’s new subcompact ute will be released later this year, but the company has already shared some teaser photos for us to look at. The HR-V, Now with Added Luxury The only picture we have of the ADX’s outside shows a rear spoiler with sharp edges and taillights that light up in a way that looks a lot like the electric Acura ZDX. If you look closely, there is also an A-Spec logo on the left side of the liftgate. The other pictures make the inside of the ADX clearer, especially the white seats with bright blue accents. Acura has also stated that options like seating that breathes, a panoramic sunroof, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system are available. Just like the Integra is a more expensive version of the base Honda Civic, the ADX is based on the HR-V. All Acura models have the same chassis, but Acura models come with a more powerful engine, as usual. A 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine in the Integra makes 200 horsepower. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines in the Civic and HR-V, on the other hand, make 150 and 158 horsepower, respectively, through natural aspiration. The ADX’s turbocharged engine will have about the same amount of power as the Integra’s. The SUV might have a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The ADX may come out soon, but Acura says it will not be until this fall. Then, we’ll learn more about how it was made, what parts are inside, and how it works. We may also find out the price, but based on what we know so far, the starting price is likely to be around $39K.
