This year’s Genesis G70 MSRP was $42,695, so this year’s is $2170 more than last year’s. The twin-turbo V-6 G70 3.3T now starts at $51,145, which is $5120 more than before. Genesis also updates the G70’s base 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine with a new 2.5-liter engine and makes some small changes to the inside. It’s not a surprise that the 2024 Genesis G70 costs more than the 2023 model. Hyundai not only changed the inside of the sports car, but they also changed the base model’s engine. Because of this, the starting price of the 2024 G70 goes up by $2170 to $42,695. It also comes with Brembo brakes as standard. A pricey 3.3T The other option engine stays the same, but the G70 now comes standard with a 300-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which takes the place of the 252-hp 2.0-liter turbo four. Even though the engine hasn’t changed, the base price of the G70s with the optional twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 engine has gone up. This engine still comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and can have either rear- or all-wheel drive. The G70 3.3T costs $51,145 to buy new in 2024. All-wheel drive costs an extra $2100, but people who choose rear-wheel drive will still pay a shocking $5120 more than before. The big price increase is because the Sport Advanced package, which used to cost an extra $4,300, is now standard on all V-6 cars. The Sport Prestige option costs $4,200 for a new 2.5T car and $4,400 for a new 3.3T car. The G70 has new features like redesigned climate settings that can be used with a touch screen and a rearview mirror that doesn’t have a frame. EPA fuel economy numbers for the new G70 2.5T are mostly the same. The only ones that change are the RWD version’s highway rating, which drops from 31 mpg to 29 mpg, and the combination rating, which drops from 25 mpg to 24 mpg.
