In 2024, you can buy the Toyota Supra 45th Anniversary Edition. It comes in either orange or white and has a back wing that can be moved by hand. It will go on sale this fall, and 900 models will be made for the US market. Toyota almost missed the 40th anniversary of the first Celica Supra in 1979. The latest Supra went on sale for the 2020 model year, which would have been the 40th anniversary. But Toyota is planning a new Anniversary Edition for 2024 to celebrate the Supra’s 45th birthday in a big way. The car comes in two colours of paint: white and “Mikan Blast.” “Mikan” in Japanese means orange. The most significant change is a rear wing that can be turned in different directions. The outward changes include: Matte-black 19-inch wheels. A black graphic on the side. Orange strut tower braces. GR logos on the brake callipers. The 45th Anniversary Edition has a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine that makes 382 horsepower. Toyota hasn’t said how much the 900 units will cost, but half will be orange, and the other half will be white. For the 2018 model year, the regular 3.0 and 2.0 Supra models will stay the same. The 2.0 model has a 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharger.
