• Audi has made improvements to the Q7 and SQ7 SUVs. They will be available in the US in 2025.
  • The front end looks newer, thanks to a new face and better headlights. The inside also has some new features.
  • The engines have stayed the same; the only choices are the SQ7’s 261-hp four-cylinder, 335-hp V-6, or 500-hp V-8.

The second-generation Audi Q7 has been in production for almost ten years, but it has yet to be ready for a remake. Instead, Audi is making changes to the three-row luxury SUV. The most current update has a new look for the front end and some small changes inside. For now, we only know about the updated Q7 models that are made for Europe and its speed version, the SQ7. The US will get these cars for the 2025 model year.

The 2025 Audi Q7 and SQ7 get new looks and other changes

The Q7’s new front end has a new grille, headlights that are higher up, color-matched air intakes, and LED signatures for the daytime running lights. Also, the taillights have been changed so that they show different patterns of lights and images as you get closer to the car. New colors like Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, Chili Red, and others are added to the mix. There are also more choices for upholstery and metal and wood trim inside. Also, new wheel styles come in sizes from 19 to 22 inches.

Technology is getting better because music streaming services like Spotify and Amazon Music now have new app features. The digital gauge cluster can now show more warnings, which is another improvement to the driver aid features.

Updates on SQ7

The SQ7 looks a little more aggressive than the regular Q7, but it still has a subtle look, thanks to its different front and back spoilers. It’s hard to tell that it has a 4.0-liter V-8 engine with 500 horsepower and two turbochargers. Some other changes are bigger brakes, an available torque-vectoring rear differential, and a better suspension. During our tests, the SQ7 went from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. We expect the new model to do the same.

The price of the 2025 Audi Q7 and SQ7 in the US won’t be released for a few months. However, the new cars will start a little higher than the old ones. The SQ7 costs $92,190, the Q7 55 costs $66,495, and the Q7 45 costs $60,695.
