• In 2025, Ford will offer a special Bronco model that is based on the Stroppe Baja Broncos from the 1960s and 1970s.
  • The new Bronco Stroppe Edition is built on the two-door Wildtrak, featuring a unique tri-tone color scheme reminiscent of the classic model.
  • Ford has yet to reveal the price or production numbers for the Stroppe Edition, but the limited-edition Bronco will be available starting in January.

Because it looks so retro, the modern Ford Bronco appeals to people who love the past. It’s ready for a number of limited edition versions. Ford has just released two new nostalgic options: the 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition and the bright Bronco Free Wheeling package.

The 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition Is Inspired By A Well-Known Baja Racer

In the 1960s and 1970s, Bill Stroppe was known for making changes to factory-built Broncos so they could participate in official off-road events like the NORRA Mexican 1000 and Baja 1000. The Stroppe Edition is named after him. Ford says Stroppe’s Bronco was the only stock four-wheel drive to win the 1969 Baja 1000 by itself. Making a new version is the best way to honor that kind of history, and Ford says they talked about it when the Bronco R went back to Baja in 2020.

People will be able to see the Bronco Stroppe Edition on the roads, tracks, and dunes. The three main colors are still Oxford White, Atlas Blue, and Ford’s signature Code Orange paint, though the color scheme is very similar to that of its older models. Not a Raptor this time, but a different type. The front and back fenders have Stroppe badges and wheel arches that are squared off. The grille is white and says “Bronco” in Code Orange. The hood and trunk are matte black. The look is finished off with a set of black 17-inch wheels that can deadlocked and a steel front bumper with, you got it, Code Orange tow hooks.

There are a lot of good things about the two-door Wildtrak that the Bronco Stroppe Edition is based on. A separate front anti-roll bar, Fox internal-bypass dampers, and 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires come with the HOSS 3.0 suspension. There are also side steps with built-in rock rails in the Stroppe Edition. The 2.7-liter turbo-4 engine gives it 330 hp. It has an all-wheel drive and an automatic engine with 10 speeds.

Inside the special edition Bronco, there is a white dash panel with the word “Bronco” written in Code Orange. This color is used as an accent on many parts of the dashboard and seats, as well as on the grab handles and the G.O.A.T. drive modes. There is also a logo that says “Stroppe Edition” on the center panel, right next to the cupholders.

Ford says the 2025 Bronco Stroppe Edition will go on sale in January, but we need to know its cost or the number of units produced.
