• The 2025 GMC Terrain will have a starting price of $31,395 and will be available solely in the base Elevation trim.
  • From 2026 on, the Elevation will be joined by the high-end Denali and the off-road-focused AT4.
  • The top-of-the-line Terrain Denali is likely to cost around $40,000 when it comes out in 2025.

GMC has slowly been updating its SUV line over the last year. One of the newest cars to get an update is the 2025 Terrain, which has a new cabin with a 15.0-inch touchscreen and a tougher, more squared-off look. The 2025 Terrain’s price has been made public since it is now for sale. The price of the Elevation trim is $31,395.

The 2025 GMC Terrain's Beginning Price Is $31,395, Which Is $1300 More Than The Previous Year

The base price of that car was $1300 more than that in 2024 when the SLE was the least expensive type of the small SUV. Remote start, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel are all standard on the Elevation. Along with the $30,095 SLE trim, the off-road-focused AT4, the fancier Denali, and the $34,095 SLT were added to the range in 2024.

The 2025 model year, on the other hand, will only have the Elevation trim of the Terrain. Prices for the AT4 and Denali have not been released yet, but for the 2026 model year, there will be more cars to choose from. The first of these cars is likely to hit stores around 2025. In 2024, the Denali is priced at $39,995, while the Terrain AT4 starts at $36,890. We expect small gains in 2026, with the Denali getting close to the $40,000 mark. GMC hasn’t named a model that can be used instead of the SLT and fits between the base Elevation and the AT4.

GMC hasn’t changed much on the bottom, even though the 2025 Terrain has a new outer and interior design with an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster and a big touch screen mounted vertically. After 2024, the Terrain will still have the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 175 horsepower with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. GMC has changed the nine-speed automatic transmission in front-wheel-drive cars to a continuously variable transmission. The AWD model now has an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
