• The six-speed manual transmission that was previously standard on the 2025 Jeep Gladiator lineup is being dropped by Jeep.
  • Every Gladiator now comes standard with power windows and locks, just like the Jeep Wrangler.
  • The automatic transmission used to cost $2500, but the Gladiator’s starting price is only $205 more than it was last year ($39,995).

With Jeep dropping the third pedal from the 2025 Gladiator lineup, the world of manual pickup trucks has shrunk slightly. Starting in 2025, the eight-speed automatic transmission, which was previously available as an option, will replace the Gladiator’s standard six-speed manual transmission.

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator Now Starts At $39,995 And Does Away With The Stick Shift

The automatic gear in a Jeep used to cost $2500 until this year. The Gladiator’s starting price has only gone up by $205, even though the car is basic. Nighthawks now cost $42,790, Sport Ss $43,495, and the first Sports $39,995. It costs $47,000 to upgrade a Willys, and it costs $52,000 to update a Mojave or a Rubicon.

Jeep made the Gladiator more modern by giving all of them electric windows and locks and improving the engine. You can now choose from two more paint colours: blue and olive-drab green. The changes are finished off with a new software option that lets owners set the temperature inside the cabin using the Jeep Connect app on their phones.

The 2025 Gladiators all have a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine that makes 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the trim, you can still carry between 1,105 and 1,725 pounds and pull up to 7,700 pounds.
