After 10 years, the Nissan Murano undergoes its first major redesign, with all trim levels becoming more expensive for 2025. With a base price of $41,860, the new front-wheel-drive Murano SV is only $340 more expensive than the old one. The higher SL and Platinum trims now include all-wheel drive as standard, with price bumps of $2,160 and $1,150, respectively, compared to their 2024 AWD counterparts. Since it hasn’t had a major makeover since 2015, the Nissan Murano has fallen behind a group of mid-size SUVs that are always getting better. This is the fourth version of the Nissan Murano, which has a sleek new look. Things might change in 2025. Because of this, price rises are to be expected since every Murano is now more expensive than it was before. Prices have gone up the least for the base SV trim, which now starts at $41,860, which is only $340 more than the 2024 model. The all-wheel-drive version is priced at an additional $1,000, bringing the total cost to $42,860. The prices for the Murano line then go up. Before, you could choose between front- or all-wheel drive for the SL and Platinum grades, which come with more luxurious features like leather seats, automatic side mirrors, and a panoramic sunroof. All of these higher-end cars will not have front-wheel drive until 2025. The base price for the all-wheel-drive SL is $47,950, and the base price for the Platinum is $50,990. Compared to the 2024 AWD models that came before them, the starting prices of the new SL and Platinum have gone up by $2160 and $1150, respectively. The base prices for the 2024 Murano SL and Platinum, both with front-wheel drive, are $44,090 and $48,140. For the extra money, the 2025 Murano gets a lot of new features, a much better engine, and a beautiful new body. The Murano’s sleek, rounded, and smooth form brings it into the 2020s. It also has interesting features like thin headlights and daytime running lights that are built into the horizontal lines of the grille. The old 3.5-liter V-6 engine has been replaced by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder VC-Turbo engine in the new model. The CVT in the old model has been replaced with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission, which is good news. A digital gauge panel, leatherette upholstery, a power liftgate, power-adjustable heated front seats, and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are just a few of the driver-assistance features that come standard with the SV. An immersive sound system by Bose, a panoramic sunroof, and a camera that can see in all directions are all standard on the SL. The top Platinum model is getting close to being a luxury car because it has heated back seats, a head-up display, massage front seats, and semi-aniline leather. The Nissan Murano will be updated and should hit stores in early 2025.
