The price of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner has gone down just in time for the holidays. This SUV is already the best Toyota has to offer. With a starting price of $42,220, the new 4Runner is more than $15,000 less expensive than the Land Cruiser while featuring Toyota’s most recent design, powertrains, and inside technology. At the base price, only the 4Runner 4×2 SR5 with two-wheel drive is included. The 4×4 SR5 model starts at $44,220, which is $13,680 less than the base Land Cruiser 1958, which costs $57,900. This is the type that most people will want to spend more on. The Land Cruiser comes with Toyota’s i-Force Max hybrid drivetrain, which has an electric motor and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that work together to make 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. There is also all-wheel drive right out of the box. The i-Force engine in the basic 4Runner only makes 278 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque because it doesn’t have the “Max” option. With the Max engine, the 4Runner 4×4 TRD Off-Road i-Force Max costs $53,440. If you care about quality, technology, and how things look inside, the 4Runner’s cabin is almost as good as the Land Cruiser’s. It has the same clean lines, straight angles, and a steering wheel that is about the same size. It also has a big touchscreen infotainment system placed on the dashboard. The person who buys the 4Runner will probably have more money afterward, but people who already own either SUV should be fine with it. The 4Runner did better than just the Land Cruiser in terms of value. It costs less at first than the Crown Signia, Grand Highlander, bZ4X, RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid, and Highlander Hybrid. The Highlander, Land Cruiser, and 4Runner are all about the same size and price, but the 4Runner is a little cheaper than the others. Of course, the 4Runner will get pricey very fast if you check all the boxes. It starts at $68,350, but with a few extra choices, the top-of-the-line TRD Pro i-Force Max could go up to $70,000 or more. If you’re looking for a simple SUV, you can get the all-new 4Runner for the same price as the 2024 model.
