• Toyota will stop making the GR Supra with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine in 2025.
  • It comes with either a six-cylinder, 3.0-liter turbocharged engine with 382 horsepower and either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.
  • The 3.0 now starts at $57,345, and the 3.0 Premium at $60,495. The price has gone up since the 2.0-liter GR Supra was removed from the lineup.

Toyota has been making the current version of the Supra since 2020. For the first model year, there was only the 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine, which had 335 horsepower. Toyota increased the power of the 3.0 and released a 2.0-liter inline-four supercharged with 255 horsepower in 2021. Toyota is getting rid of the cheaper engine, so the GR Supra will only have the 3.0 and 3.0 Premium grades.

The 2025 Toyota GR Supra will sport a manual transmission and four-cylinder engine

The cost of buying a GR Supra has gone up a lot since the four-cylinder engine was taken out. Between 2024 and 2025, trim-to-trim prices only went up by $850. However, the base 3.0 model, which used to cost $47,535, is now the least expensive Supra at $57,345. The 3.0 Premium trim level costs $60,495, which is a bit more. The exciting news is that the six-speed manual transmission, a feature that many enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for, is back for another year and can be used for free instead of the usual eight-speed automatic.

The 3.0 boasts an 8.8-inch touchscreen in the middle, a 10-speaker sound system, and Alcantara and black leather power-adjustable seats. The 3.0 Premium, on the other hand, offers an even more luxurious experience with 12 speakers and high-quality leather seats in either black or chestnut color. You can only paint it Renaissance Red, Nocturnal (black), Absolute Zero (white), or the more expensive Stratosphere blue (shown above), adding a touch of exclusivity to the model.
