• The 2025 Toyota Highlander’s non-hybrid XSE trim level receives a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, which allows for more screen space.
  • The Highlander Hybrid no longer includes front-wheel drive as standard. All trim levels now come equipped with all-wheel drive as standard equipment.
  • To commemorate the Highlander’s 25th anniversary, a new edition has been released. It has distinctive badges and features that set it apart.

Toyota knows a lot about its mid-size SUV, the Highlander. To celebrate the model’s 25th birthday, Toyota is releasing a special anniversary edition based on the Hybrid Limited trim level. This is because everything is going well.

The 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Features A Larger Screen And All-Wheel Drive As Standard

The Limited 25th-anniversary model now offers a new Portobello leather upholstery shade. You can paint the outside with either the new Heavy Metal silver paint or the classic Wind Chill Pearl white paint. For 2025, the anniversary model is mechanically identical to the rest of the lineup. The only difference is that all Highlander Hybrids now include all-wheel drive as standard. The special edition is easy to spot thanks to its silver bumpers, side rockers, and front and rear fascia.

When you open the anniversary edition’s doors, you will notice special puddle lamps and the 25th Edition logo on the floor mats, headrests, and sills. The upgraded digital gauge cluster, 11-speaker JBL system, and leather seats improve the interior over the regular Limited trim.

The manufacturer has made a few minor adjustments to the standard Highlander model line. The most significant modification is that the non-hybrid XSE now comes with a digital gauge cluster measuring 12.3 inches as standard equipment. This was a feature that was previously only available on the Platinum level. The only model that can be painted with the new cement colour right now is the XSE. People in the XLE, Limited, and Platinum trim levels can also buy the Anniversary model in the Heavy Metal silver colour. All hybrid cars will now have the Beyond Zero badge that Toyota made available as a final touch to the changes.

Toyota has announced that the new Highlander will be available in dealerships starting in November. The non-hybrid front-drive model costs $40,970.
