Foresters who cost more

All Foresters now come with an updated 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder engine that makes 180 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is still standard. Subaru is going to release a hybrid engine next year. The base Forester has been replaced by the Premium trim, which costs $2000 more and is worth $33,390. The $35,890 Sport and $37,390 Limited models will cost $2,315 more and $2,930 more than they do now. The best Forester type is still the Touring. With a base price of $41,390 (no extras), it’s the first Forester to cost more than $40,000. This is because the price went up by $2,900.

A blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and a power rear liftgate are all part of a $1200 package that comes with the Premium level. For $1700 more, you can get an 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a power rear liftgate, automatic emergency braking in the rear, and more drive modes for the Sport. For an extra $1600, the Limited can be equipped with a similar package that comes with built-in TomTom navigation.

Subaru says that the stronger Forester Wilderness will still be for sale along with the model expected to come out in 2025. The price starts at $36,265. Still, we think Subaru will make a new Wilderness model in the future. In fact, we’ve already planned one.
