The base Hyundai Sonata model, the SE, will no longer be available in 2024. Instead, the $28,615 SEL will be the least expensive model. The price goes up to USD 30,015 for the new SEL all-wheel drive type. Along with higher prices, the Sonata will get an update in 2024 that will make big changes to the way it looks inside and out. Hyundai is planning a mid-cycle update for the 2024 Sonata. The headlights, taillights, and front and rear bumpers will all get bigger changes, as well as changes to the inside. The company just announced prices for the 2024 lineup, which gets rid of the base SE and cuts down on the number of trims. So, the base price of the Sonata’s base model, the $28,615 SEL trim, is $2,400 more than it was for the 2023 model year. The price of the Sonata goes up by $1500 because it now has all-wheel drive. For now, cars with the basic 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which makes 192 horsepower, can only have front-wheel drive. The Sonata N Line costs $36,065, which is $475 more than last year. It has a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 290 horsepower and dual-clutch gear. The N Line Sonata’s 5.0-second sprint to 60 mph showed a lot of promise in our last test. Along with the normal 17-inch wheels, it has four more exhaust outlets, a bigger front grille, red accent stitching, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The starting price goes up to $31,915 if the SEL hybrid is chosen. The hybrid Sonata is the most expensive car in the line. The base price for the more expensive Limited trim is USD 38,315. One big change for the 2024 model is that the power trunk lid is now standard on the Limited. Another big change is that the 12.3-inch touchscreen screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now standard on all models. Early in 2024, the Hyundai Sonata 2024 will go on sale. Hybrid models will come out a little later, in the first quarter of that year.
