AEV turned a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD into a robust pickup truck with a rack. Off-road lights, a big brush guard, steel bumpers, and a winch are added to the regular-cab version. With a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V-8 engine that gets air through a blower, the Sierra can move. Even though trucks are already challenging, American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) could make them even more difficult. Look at the 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD hat that the company made for the SEMA show this year. It used to be a regular-cab long-bed truck, but now it has a lot of AEV gear that turns it into a heavy-duty Overlander. A Sierra HD that is ready for SEMA The ideal car called the Sierra HD Grande, looks like it could go through a concrete wall. This is primarily because of its vast grille guard, which is a prototype for an AEV and also covers the headlights. It comes with four off-road solid lights and a 12,500-pound ComeUp winch mounted under them. The winch is built into the front steel bumper, which is also on the Sierra HD AT4X AEV Edition. With 1.5 inches of lift and Multimedia spool-valve dampers, the idea uses the same AT4X suspension as that car. The enormous 40-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires float on the Salta XD wheels. The car has a full-size spare tire and an eight-foot aluminum flatbed in case one of the tires breaks. AEV added stamped steel skid plates to the bottom of the car to keep it from getting damaged on rough ground. On the back, there is a handmade steel bumper with a 9500-pound winch. It has a 6.6-liter V-8 engine, which makes 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. The snorkel air intake and ARB air compressor let the Duramax diesel engine breathe if the truck needs to go through water. The idea of the Sierra HD Grande is scary. That’s what bigger tires and a big brush guard will do. The unique color and front wheel flares on the prototype AEV are not found on a production car. A 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD regular cab starts at a little more than $47,000, but this model is very well-priced because it has so many unique features.
