The price of Acura’s new electric SUV, the 2024 ZDX, is already known. The A-Spec version has rear-wheel drive and starts at about $66,000. The Type S version costs $75,000 and has more power and all-wheel drive as standard. In the US, you’ll be able to buy the ZDX starting in early spring. Acura is starting to make electric cars with some help from its friends. The 2024 ZDX, which is the brand’s first EV, is built on General Motors’ Ultium platform, which is also used for the Cadillac Lyriq. We now know that the ZDX starts at about $66,000, which is more than the Lyriq’s starting price of less than $60,000. (Acura hasn’t said what the destination price for the ZDX will be yet, so our price figures are based on the MSRP prices that have been released, along with a rough destination fee.) Like the Cadillac, the Acura ZDX series starts with a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive setup that can make 340 horsepower. Acura hasn’t said how much horsepower the base ZDX A-Spec trim level with two motors and all-wheel drive would have, but you can get it for an extra $4,000. The 102.0-kWh battery pack in the ZDX A-Spec is meant to give it a range of 325 miles with rear-wheel drive and 315 miles with all-wheel drive. The Type S has a 500-horsepower dual-motor engine and starts at about $75,000, which turns up the heat. It is thought to have a range of 288 miles, which is less. The Type S is more dynamic and has bigger Brembo brakes, 22-inch wheels, a better air suspension that can be adjusted for height, and adaptive dampers. For an extra $1000, you can get tires for the summer. When you buy ZDX, you can pick from three different fee sets. All of them come with free 60.0-kWh charging at Electrify America stations, as well as a home charging station, a portable charging kit, an installation credit, and credits at EVGo charging stations. Starting in early spring, the ZDX will be sold in American stores. The exact location charge will be added to this page as soon as it is known.
