• Dodge is making a number of “Last Call” models to mark the end of V-8 production for the Durango SUV at the end of 2024.
  • The Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI will be the first of the “Last Call” Durangos, and only 1000 will be made when they go on sale.
  • The special version makes the outside more interesting to look at, while the inside has “392” logos woven in and silver and yellow stitching to make it look better.

Dodge is once again getting ready for an annual celebration of life, not sad about the death of a friend. Today, Dodge will show off the Durango SRT 392 and Durango SRT Hellcat “Last Call” instead of the Charger and Challenger. The unique versions are available because Dodge plans to stop making the V-8 HEMI engine at the end of the year.

The "Last Call" for the Durango is the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI

As the company gets ready for the release of a new generation of Durangos in 2026, the “Last Call” models will be split into Durango SRT 392s and SRT Hellcats, which will go on sale in both 2024 and 2025. When we asked Dodge for an answer, they wouldn’t say how many “Last Call” vehicles they had, but they did say that more information would be made public in 2024.

The first letter of the final

It will be the first of the “Last Call” special models. Dodge calls the 392 version the Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI. The special version won’t be powered by ethanol, despite its name, the AlcHEMI. Instead, it will use the same 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine with 475 horsepower as the rest of the SRT 392 series.

To make the AlcHEMI model stand out from the others, it has Satin Black forged SRT alloy wheels, SRT Brembro brakes with yellow calipers, black logos, and black exhaust tips. To make the model stand out even more, it has two lines on the outside that have a honeycomb pattern and yellow edges.

Forged carbon-fiber accents, yellow and silver stitching, and “392” logos on the steering wheel and seatbacks make up the AlcHEMI special version. There will only be 1000 cars made, and 250 of each of the four outer color choices—Diamond Black, Destroyer Gray, Vapor Gray, and White Knuckle—will be sold.

Like with the Charger and Challenger “Last Call” versions, people who want to buy a Dodge should use the “Horsepower Locator” to look for store allocations starting in late February. The Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI will start being made in April, and cars will start showing up in a few stores in May. The extra version of the Durango SRT 392 will cost a total of $91,390, plus an extra $3595.
