On the other hand, the black border between the headlights and grille makes the E-class and EQE look like they belong together. Mercedes is happy with the new infotainment system, now run by a single onboard computer with better entertainment choices. Mercedes has added third-party apps like TikTok, Vivaldi, and Angry Birds to the center display, and the built-in entertainment system can stream with a subscription service. The E-class also has augmented reality guidance, which adds arrows to images taken by the car’s many cameras in real-time. When the driver is alone, the new “Just Talk” feature lets the voice assistant keep listening for orders even when the driver is talking. The 2.0-liter inline-four engine in the E350 makes 295 lb-ft of torque, 22 lb-ft more than the previous four-cylinder engine, which produced 255 hp. The E450 is an upgrade from the E450. Its turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine makes 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, a 13-horsepower boost. All E-class cars have all-wheel drive, and the engine and the transmission have nine speeds. Each corner of the 2024 E-class has a multi link suspension, and an extra air suspension can replace the standard steel-spring setup with the Technology package. The adaptive dampers and load-leveling function can be changed based on how the road is. Rear-wheel steering is another part of the Technology package that makes the E-class more maneuverable at slower speeds. It cuts the turning radius down to just over three feet. Many driver assistance features come standard on the E-class. Still, the Driver Assistance Plus package lets you add features like active steering with lane-centering and automatic lane changes.
