• The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC350e will be available in showrooms in the United States for $61,050, which is almost $10,000 more than the basic price of the GLC300 in petrol.
  • The GLC plug-in hybrid has a 24.8-kWh battery that lets it go 54 miles on power alone.
  • The hybrid system has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 313 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

Mercedes-Benz announced earlier this year that the GLC350e, a new plug-in hybrid version of the GLC-class SUV, will be added in 2025. The GLC-class SUV was updated extensively for the 2023 model year. Mercedes has announced the price and range of the new GLC plug-in hybrid. The car will begin at $61,050 and can travel up to 54 miles on electricity alone.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC350e Plug-In Hybrid 2025 has a range of 54 miles

The GLC350e has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The engine is connected to an electric motor that has 325 pound-feet of torque and 134 horsepower. Their combined output is 313 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes expects it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds and get 60 mpg in the city and 70 mpg on the highway.

The EPA says that the 24.8-kWh battery in the hybrid system will give the car an all-electric range of 54 miles. This is a little less than what people thought when they heard that the GLC350e would have an 81-mile electric range on the WLTP test run in Europe. Mercedes says that the battery can be fully charged in as little as 30 minutes when it is charged at up to 60 kW on a DC fast charger.

To match the GLC SUVs that run on gasoline alone, the plug-in hybrid comes in three trim levels: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. Along with a smart entry system and self-leveling suspension, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wirelessly built in. The PHEV SUV also comes with an AMG Line and Night package for people who care a lot about how it looks. Six wheel choices are available, and two of them are brand-new for the GLC350e.

With the $62,700 Exclusive trim update, you get a 360-degree surround-view camera, an illuminated door sill, and a Burmester 3D surround-sound system, among other things. The Pinnacle trim, which costs $64,650 and has a head-up display and noise- and heat-absorbing glass, is the most expensive. As of right now, Mercedes says that the GLC350e is in showrooms and costs about $10,000 more than the GLC300 on gas alone. It starts at $61,050.
