Ford Performance said a new blower kit for the 2024 Ford Mustang is now available. When added to the base 5.0-liter V-8 engine, Ford says the change will make the horsepower go from 480 to at least 800. The Ford Mustang FP800S design is the first car to have a supercharger. It also has several other Ford Performance parts. Dodge is no longer making V-8 Hellcats, not because Ford doesn’t want to make new Mustangs with more than 800 horsepower, but because Dodge has stopped making them. That’s precisely what the new Ford Performance supercharger system, which will be shown off at this year’s SEMA show on the Ford Mustang FP800S model, is meant to do. Extra-charged 5.0L The naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 engine in the Mustang makes 480 horsepower when it leaves the factory. With the Whipple 3.0-liter blower, that number goes up to at least 800 horsepower. The fuel and air systems also need to be changed. Ford says that the upgrade can be used with both automatic and manual gears. They are also working on a version that only works with the Mustang Dark Horse. The supercharger kit comes with a guarantee from Ford Performance that covers three years or 36,000 miles. This warranty meets CARB requirements. No price has been given for the Mustang kit, but it will be available in 2019. Mustang FP800S Idea Now, the company has said that its toy car will get the same treatment as the Ford F-150 FP700. The Mustang FP800S design has a Borla Extreme cat-back exhaust system with four 5.0-inch tips, as well as a better supercharger. Some other ideas include making the half-shafts stronger, using carbon fiber for the aero parts, and lowering the ride height.
