Dodge’s Durangos have had Hemi engines for 20 years, and the Durango SRT Hellcat and Durango R/T 20th Anniversary Edition are the first cars with those engines. The Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet special version starts at $115,315 and is the last Hellcat that is for sale. The Durango R/T 20th Anniversary variant is much less expensive than the Plus trim, which costs $68,565. Dodge’s web portal allows customers to place orders for both models. The 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat came out in 2020. It has a crazy supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. At the time, it was only planned to make the very strong SUV for one year. The company then went the opposite way and released the 2023 Durango Hellcat in 2022. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the first Durango with a Hemi engine, Dodge will release two limited-edition cars: the Durango SRT Hellcat and the Durango R/T 20th Anniversary Edition. Another type of silver, Triple Nickel, is used to finish the Hellcat. Dodge calls it the Silver Bullet. The hood, exhaust tips, and back logo have been blacked out, among other changes to the look. It comes with a set of 20-inch wheels painted Lights Out or dark gray. Front brakes with six pistons and red calipers stop the big SUV. The steering wheel and headliner are made of suede, and the interior has forged carbon fiber and Ebony Red Nappa leather seats with the Hellcat sign sewn into them. The normal version is the same inside. The 10.1-inch tablet in the middle of the dashboard lets you charge your phone wirelessly and controls Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Enjoy the comfort of heated and cooled front seats. It’s good that the Silver Bullet hasn’t had any changes made to its mechanics. The famous 6.2-liter V-8 engine can make an amazing 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque when it is supercharged. A gearbox with eight speeds sends power to all four wheels. In a 2021 test by Invoice Pricing, the Durango Hellcat went from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and had 0.87 g of grip on our skidpad. A limited number of the 20th Anniversary version of the Durango R/T has been made available by Dodge. The anniversary model has black badges and a black hood, just like the Silver Bullet. The brakes are Brembo, and they have six pistons and black cylinders. The wheels are Brass Monkey 20 inches. The special version also comes with the Tow N’ Go option, which makes the vehicle better at towing, adds adaptive dampers and an active exhaust system, and changes how the steering works. Since it is the only remaining Hellcat, the Silver Bullet costs more than other Hellcats. Price starts at $115,315 for the limited-edition Durango, which is more than $10,000 more than last year. Both the Plus trim ($68,565) and the Premium trim ($72,065) make it clear that the anniversary model costs less.
