The output remains the same at 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque; however, the GT now features a new coil-over suspension system with adjustable dampers and a distinct differential tuning. In the US, only 85 will be sold. For some reason, this trim costs $72,300 more than the regular RS6 Avant Performance trim. What’s the point of having all that extra money if not to brag? Not as much as you might think since you’re paying for both the normal RS6 Avant and an extra, well-equipped Audi RS3. The regular model and the GT both have a 4.0-liter V-8 twin-turbo engine. It still has a lot of power, with 621 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. If you set the rear differential in a certain way, the most noticeable changes happen below the surface. Because the special version has three-way adjustable coil-over shocks, the car may be lowered by more than half an inch compared to the Performance model. Audi has also made some changes to how the car looks, like updating the front splitter and making the head look different. Both the front fenders and hood of the Avant GT have been redone from scratch and covered in carbon fiber. The new holes at the back of the front fenders are meant to lower air pressure and help the brakes cool down. The unique Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO race car, which is what it’s named after, will be the inspiration for the white, red, and black paint job that will be put on all Avant GTs going to the US.
