Toyota has made a new car called the Century that looks like an SUV. The Century automobile has been around for a while and can only be bought in Japan. This new Century is boxy, dark, and decorated. The Century SUV has a plug-in hybrid drivetrain with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that drives all four wheels. It sounds like the engine in the brand-new 2024 Lexus TX550+, a three-row SUV with 406 horsepower, 30 mpg, and a 33-mile electric drive range. Toyota hasn’t said much about the Century other than its size and the fact that it weighs more than 5,600 pounds at the curb. Only 30 Toyota Centurys will be made each month, and they will only be sold in Japan. The price will start at about $170,000.
