• Motor1 says that the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 with the 470-horsepower Hemi V-8 will no longer be made after the end of this year.
  • A post on the JL Wrangler Forums says that Jeep sellers who sell more than the previous month’s sales will get one 2024 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition.
  • The Wrangler with a V-8 engine and the Ram 1500 TRX Final Edition with 702 hp both look like they are going away.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 was fun to drive while it was still on the market. Jeep’s V-8-powered convertible, off-road car will soon be relegated to the sandy trail for good, which is a shame but not a surprise. From a story that Motor1 put out today, this is the case. This month, there was a post on the JL Wrangler Forums that had a letter sent to Jeep stores about the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition. That’s clear to everyone.

There have been reports of a 470-HP Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. It is getting to the Dusty Trail

I care about you—the V-8 Wrangler

Jeep’s paper says that sellers who sell more than they did the previous month will get one ’24 Rubicon 392 Final Edition. With today’s sky-high markups, dealerships should be fighting for Jeep’s golden ticket. This is especially true since the standard Rubicon 392 already has an MSRP of $93,440, which is wildly expensive. Of course, the Final Edition will cost a lot more—likely six figures.

It still needs to be officially announced, so we need to know how many 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Editions the company hopes to sell. Someone from Jeep was asked about the report and any other details, but we are still waiting to hear back. For your records, Ram said that 4000 copies of the TRX Final Edition would be made.

Like Ram’s 702-hp supercharged V-8 super truck, Jeep’s Final Edition Wrangler will likely come with a lot of extras and share the same powertrain as models with different badges. There will be a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine inside, which makes 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This made the car we tried to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds. It also went 104 mph in 12.9 seconds around a quarter-mile track.

If Jeep doesn’t make a high-performance electric model, which is not impossible, the Rubicon 392 will be known as the fastest production Wrangler ever made. This will, without a shadow of a doubt, be the largest.
