Online sources say that leasing the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6 will cost less than leasing the 2024 Toyota Corolla. Hyundai doesn’t want you to know about this if it’s true. Yesterday, CarsDirect had a deal where you could lease an Ioniq 6 SE with no down payment for just $239 a month. In the United States, that would be the cheapest loan for a car that won The Invoice Pricing’s Best EV award. So what’s the deal? It goes without saying that anyone who wants to buy a car, electric or not, should do this. There is a lot of space inside the Hyundai Ioniq 6, which is a sleek car with a range of about 321 miles. The base Ioniq 6 SE might not be right for people who live in colder areas because it only has one 225-horsepower electric engine in the back, but for $239 a month, it’s still a good option. Before, it wasn’t clear if the deal was still available because, as of Thursday afternoon, it wasn’t listed on Hyundai’s North American website. When The Drive called a few Hyundai stores, they all said they had never had a no-money-down deal. As confirmed by the manufacturer, this is the official information. It includes details on another deal for the Kona Electric that makes the small SUV as cheap as $169 a month for two years, but you have to pay $2,000 up front. The event began on March 19 and will last until April 1. The best leasing deal Hyundai had previously offered was still only $249 a month, but you had to pay a $3,499 down payment. You can also get the Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE for $199 a month with a $3,999 down payment. Hyundai’s best-performing electric cars come with some appealing lease choices. Now that we know the Ioniq 6’s $239-a-month, no-down-payment offer is real, I may be about to make a financial choice.
