When Lexus showed off its newly redesigned mid-size SUV last week, it got a lot of attention for its boxy look, its new Overtrail off-road equipment level, and its updated interior. Later, there will be a hybrid powertrain, but at first it will only be offered in the GX550 with a 349-hp twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 engine. We don’t know how much the new car will cost yet, but we do know what trim levels, colours, and interior combinations it will come in. Here are pictures of the new 2024 GX in all of its different trims and colours. GX Premium Toyota The base model, the Premium, comes with four-wheel drive, 20-inch wheels, a sunroof, a 10-speaker audio system, and a 14.0-inch touchscreen navigation system. Because there is a bench in the middle of the second row, its three rows of seats can fit seven people. The only choice is the Cold Area package, which comes with a heated steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer, headlamp washers, and what Lexus calls a “fast-response” interior heater. The Premium+ version has a power-adjustable steering wheel, ambient lighting, heated seats on the sides of the second row, a wireless phone charger, a third-row seat that folds down automatically, and park assist. It has warm captain’s seats in the second row that can only fit six people and a digital key. Lexus GX Luxury The 22-inch wheels on the GX Luxury make it look a little different from the Premium. The Premium and Overtrail models, which can pull 8000 pounds instead of 6990 pounds, are slightly more strong. Some of the features are front seats that massage you, semi-aniline leather, sunshades for the second row of seats, and mirror puddle lamps. It also has a 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system and heated captain’s seats in the second row instead of a bench there. The Luxury+ trim also comes with a panoramic sunroof, power-extending running boards, a digital rearview mirror, a cool box, and the Mark Levinson audio system. At 6780 pounds, the Luxury+ model can pull much more than the other two. Lexus GX Overtrail Overtrail is a new trim level that focuses on off-roading. It has a number of technical improvements. It has a rear differential that can be locked, 18-inch wheels, 33-inch all-terrain tires, an E-KDSS suspension that can turn off the anti-roll bars, and many different drive modes that are made for different types of terrain. The Overtrail also has a skid plate, stronger roof rails, and other changes to make it look better. Inside, there are two rows of five chairs. There is a version of the Overtrail+ that is better equipped and has some of the extra features of the luxury trim. This model has heated seats in the back row, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, power-adjustable steering, and park assist. The Outside Has Colours Lexus will give the GX eight exterior colour choices, some of which will only be available on certain model levels. Mica here when it got dark.
