The company is telling people who have preordered cars to start making changes to them right away. The EX30 Twin Motor Performance has an electric motor on each side and costs $46,195. It delivers 422 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. With that much power, the Volvo can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. The EPA says that the all-wheel-drive EX30 Twin Motor Performance can go 253 miles on a single charge of its 64.0-kWh battery pack. Volvo says that the EX30 Single Motor will be on sale in 2025 and will cost at least $36,245. This EX30 type has a single electric motor that gives the back wheels power. It has 268 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. It is said to take 5.1 seconds to hit 60 mph. The EPA says that cars with 19-inch wheels can go 261 miles, while cars with 18-inch wheels can go 257 miles. Volvo first said that the EX30 would be late coming out in the summer. This was because of “changes in the global automotive landscape,” which seemed to have something to do with the recent high tariffs the US government put on EVs made in China. The 2025 EX30s for the US will be made in Zhangjiakou, China, at first, but then they will all be made at the company’s workshop in Ghent, Belgium.
