It’s a heavy-duty vehicle that can tow and haul, but it’s also luxurious, enjoyable to drive, and jam-packed with high-tech features. The outside and interior of the Ram 3500 are both eye-catching. The diesel begs for an 8 automatic transmission, but all of the engines are powerful and responsive. Its ride and handling are top-notch for the class. The 12.0-inch accessible display and the offered driver aid functions are also excellent additions. With proper off-road gear, we’ve found the 3500’s off-road abilities to be impressive as well. There are two versions of the 6.7-liter turbocharged inline-six. For a 370-horsepower engine, that works out to about 850 pound-feet. 420 horsepower & 1,075 lb-ft of power may be found in the “high-output” variant.
