As of 2016, we’ve driven a few eighth-generation Maximas, and they’ve impressed us with their bold exterior design but mostly upscale interior, both considerable upgrades over the previous model. A Maxima SR certified pre owned, that also comes equipped with a number of performance-oriented upgrades, epitomises this level of capability. Sport-tuned suspension with retuned suspension systems, stiffer springs, as well as a larger-diameter front stabiliser bar are just some of the modifications. Interior features include Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, coal headliner, & dark satin chrome accents. A power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, monsoon windshield wipers, heated rear seats, and a power sunroof are all included in the Maxima Platinum for 2022. The front wheels receive the majority of the power. The 2022 Maxima is expected to have similar fuel economy ratings to the 2021 model, which is rated at 20/30 mpg city/highway. The 2021 Camry FWD’s 301-horsepower, eight-speed automatic-equipped naturally aspirated V-6 has lower ratings. 22/33 mpg is the EPA’s estimate for the Camry’s fuel economy.
