2024 Chevrolet Malibu Overview

What’s new:

  • There will be no significant adjustments until at least 2024.
  • There was a new Malibu in 2016.

The 2024 Chevrolet Malibu, the model’s second-to-last year, will continue to look the same. Despite plans to phase it out after 2024, Chevrolet will continue selling this midsize car for another year. Another release in 2025 is planned. Chevrolet is having second thoughts about dumping the Corvette.

Until the 10th-generation Malibu is released, the 9th-generation model will serve as a rental and government fleet vehicle. A sluggish turbocharged four-cylinder engine is standard across all trim levels. This Chevrolet is less competitive than other Malibus because it does not have all-wheel drive or a hybrid engine. It is significant, and the controls are basic, yet it looks good.

Compared to its rivals, the 2024 Chevrolet Malibu’s performance is subpar. The Hyundai Sonata and Kia K5 each have unique designs and cutting-edge amenities, but the Honda Accord has more space and is more potent. The Nissan Altima boasts a more powerful engine, but the Subaru Legacy offers all-wheel drive. The new Camry that Toyota is releasing will be very successful. Though we appreciate Chevy’s improved Malibu, we still recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros

  • There is plenty of space for passengers’ legs up front.
  • Intuitive touchscreen interfaces

Cons

  • Quickness
  • perspective
  • Interior planning.

The Chevrolet Malibu 2024 has yet to be a confirmed model. Last year’s Malibu suggested the 2LT trim level, and barring any significant changes for this year, we stand by that recommendation. It is the only vehicle compatible with Malibu’s driver assistance features. All standard equipment includes leather upholstery, front climate control, a superb sound system, and more.

Malibu Chevrolets

Chevrolet Malibus come in LS, RS, LT, and 2LT forms. All of them are equipped with a CVT and a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that sends 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels.
