2023 Land Rover Range Rover Overview

What’s New?

  • Changes to the inside and outside
  • A new method for touchscreens
  • The V8 engine gets more powerful.
  • An electric range of 50 miles is possible for a plug-in hybrid.
  • In 2023, you can buy the third-generation Range Rover Sport.

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2023 has been rebuilt from the ground up. This luxury SUV is in the middle size range between the smaller Range Rover Velar and the company’s leading Range Rover. It shares a 118-inch wheelbase with the Range Rover.

For 2023, it will have a more angular exterior, a luxurious interior with the latest technology, and a lot of new driving assistance features. The Sport has a cutting-edge cabin with a 13.7-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13.1-inch curved touchscreen for entertainment.

It has four engine choices, starting with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six and a 48-volt electrical system with three outputs that benefit from electrical help. The P360 (SE) and P400 (Dynamic SE) both have 355 horsepower, while the P400 (Dynamic SE) has 395 horsepower. The P440 (Autobiography) has 343 horsepower. It has the same gas engine, but the plug-in hybrid electric system and battery have been upgraded. Land Rover says that the car can go 51 miles on electricity alone. The P530 (First Edition) also has a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 523i horsepower. All models come with all-wheel drive and an automatic engine with eight speeds.

The 2023 Range Rover Sport stays true to the brand’s off-road roots with a unique all-wheel-drive system that can disconnect the front axle in certain situations and a standard air suspension that can raise it to give it 11.1 inches of ground clearance. The best model has a torque-vectoring rear axle and four-wheel steering, making turning easier. The Sport cares less about being able to go off-road than the larger Range Rover. All Range Rovers come with a dual-range transfer case, but the two cheapest Range Rover Sport models don’t have to have one. Think of the Range Rover Sport as a cleaner-driving version of the Range Rover. It’s not made for off-road use, though.

Pros

  • There are four choices for powertrains, including a hybrid that you can plug in.
  • Every trim level comes with air suspension as standard.
  • Decor that is pretty, modern, and full of technology
  • The same as the famous Range Rover, but for less money.

Cons

  • Lacks the agility on the road of some of its rivals
  • Only the top level of options has rear-wheel steering and a rear axle that
  • can change how much power it puts out.
  • A significant price increase from the last model

The 2023 Range Rover Sport has excellent comfort and style features in every trim level, but the P360 (SE) is the best value. At a fair price, it has the most luxury, safety, and tech features. For example, it has adaptive cruise control with steering assistance, a blind-spot warning system, and a camera that lets you see everything around you. There are also 21-inch wheels.
