It has become normal to look dark. The climate package now comes with seats that are heated. A part of the 2019 S60 model, which was released. The Volvo S60 is one of the most underrated small luxury cars on the market today; it’s rarely compared to the BMW 3 Series or the Audi A4. The 2024 Volvo S60 doesn’t have the grandeur and speed of a Mercedes. Still, it does have its brand of icy-cold luxury, with high-end materials inside, unbelievably comfortable seats, and cutting-edge safety and driving features. It can also be bought as a plug-in hybrid, which is rare for cars in this class. There are a lot of loud luxury cars out there, but the S60 is a good addition for drivers who want smoothness over flashiness. The possible plug-in engine is one of the things that makes the 2024 Volvo S60 stand out from the others. Other great features include the very comfortable seats, stylish design, and great Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The Recharge T8 has a turbocharged gas engine and a recharging electric motor. It has an all-electric range of about 40 miles and better fuel economy (the EPA says it can go 530 miles on a full tank and battery). A 240-volt charger can fully charge the S60 Recharge’s battery in five hours. It has a strong horsepower boost and almost twice as much low-end torque as a normal gas engine. Even though it costs about $10,000 more, we would choose the Recharge because it works better and is more efficient. The small luxury car class has a lot of options. Well-known models like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, and Audi A4 are just a few. Another choice is the Genesis G70 or Cadillac CT4, which are less expensive. All of them handle better than the S60, which is handled in a way similar to the similarly luxurious Lexus IS 350. This is because the Mercedes is more focused on its luxury history than its performance heritage. The S60 has an edge, though, because it has a plug-in hybrid that can be chosen. BMW is the only other company that makes reusable batteries. Pros vs Cons Pros The seats are very supportive and comfy. The plug-in hybrid version that is offered has a great electric range and power. The Bowers & Wilkins sound system sounds great and is not required. Cons The touchscreen interface can be a pain. Most rivals have more space in the trunk. What is Invoice Pricing's Recommendation? The base trim has enough features, but the Plus trim, which is in the middle, is worth the extra money. On top of the Core trim, it has leather seats, an air cleaner inside, and more safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-centering to make long drives less stressful. Front and rear parking sensors and a camera that shows the whole area around the car make parking easy. Types of Volvo S60 Volvo’s S60 2024 comes in three different trim levels: core, plus, and ultimate. All grades can use either the B5 or Recharge T8 power units. The first one comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 247 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD is only available in the Ultimate model). The Recharge T8 has a plug-in hybrid system and a B5 engine. This gives it more power (455 hp, 523 lb-ft), better gas mileage, and an all-electric range of up to 40 miles. It only comes with an all-wheel drive. 2024 Volvo S60 Video Review
