2024 Jeep Wagoneer Overview

What’s new?

  • Nothing significant will occur in 2024.
  • The next-generation Wagoneer is scheduled for release in 2022.

A while ago, finding a large SUV that could tow a lot of weight and handle off-road terrain was a challenge. In 2022, when the Jeep Wagoneer was reintroduced, it included numerous high-end upgrades. This greatly expanded the playing field. With its longer wheelbase and increased cargo capacity, the Wagoneer L was introduced last year. A more fuel-efficient six-cylinder twin-turbo engine was also demonstrated.

We don’t anticipate significant changes to the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, but the vehicle will be in the spotlight. The Wagoneer S, a little all-electric SUV we’ll discuss on its own, will likely get much attention.

In 2024, if the Wagoneer returns to its current form, it will still be a solid option for a large sport utility vehicle. With a maximum load capacity of 116.7 cubic feet and a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, the Wagoneer should be able to handle anything you throw at it. Compared to the Ford Expedition, GMC Yukon, and Chevrolet Suburban, it performs similarly and even more comfortably inside.

Pros

  • Phenomenal capacity to Yank
  • Extravagant decor
  • Simple-to-operate touchscreens
  • Off-road capability, but it’s not remarkable.

Cons

  • The car might make you feel powerful and like you’re flying over obstacles on the road.
  • The V8 engine is more fuel efficient than other SUV motors.

As of this writing, Jeep has made no official announcements on the 2024 Wagoneer. We recommend upgrading to the Series II edition based on Wagoneer’s performance last year. The interior is more plush than the standard Wagoneer, and the six-cylinder engine provides increased power with decreased fuel consumption.

Types of Jeep Wagoneers

The Jeep Wagoneer is a seven-seater, full-size SUV. There’s room for up to eight in here. There’s the Wagoneer I, the Wagoneer II, the Wagoneer II Carbide, and the Wagoneer III. A 5.7-liter V8 engine producing 392 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque powers the basic Wagoneer. It’s an automatic with eight speeds. Four-wheel drive is an option, but rear-wheel drive is more common. A turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 420 hp and 486 lb-ft of torque is standard equipment for all other classes.
