A while ago, finding a large SUV that could tow a lot of weight and handle off-road terrain was a challenge. In 2022, when the Jeep Wagoneer was reintroduced, it included numerous high-end upgrades. This greatly expanded the playing field. With its longer wheelbase and increased cargo capacity, the Wagoneer L was introduced last year. A more fuel-efficient six-cylinder twin-turbo engine was also demonstrated. We don’t anticipate significant changes to the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, but the vehicle will be in the spotlight. As of this writing, Jeep has made no official announcements on the 2024 Wagoneer. We recommend upgrading to the Series II edition based on Wagoneer’s performance last year. The interior is more plush than the standard Wagoneer, and the six-cylinder engine provides increased power with decreased fuel consumption. Types of Jeep Wagoneers The Jeep Wagoneer is a seven-seater, full-size SUV. There’s room for up to eight in here. There’s the Wagoneer I, the Wagoneer II, the Wagoneer II Carbide, and the Wagoneer III. A 5.7-liter V8 engine producing 392 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque powers the basic Wagoneer. It’s an automatic with eight speeds. Four-wheel drive is an option, but rear-wheel drive is more common.
